Presumed Africa, Unknown Period
This rare, hand-carved stool is presumed to be a traditional Ashanti design, crafted in Africa. The A-shaped frame features a ribbed pattern on the legs, with two contrasting wood stains. The inner curvature of the legs features beautiful carving detail. The stool has slight asymmetry adding to the handmade character. It is in good condition overall, with a few minor chips to the wood. Suitable as a small side table or seat.
