A handmade red terracotta 2L jug, presumed to be made in the United Kingdom around 1970, although it lacks any makers’ marks. The rich red glaze is has slight variations in tone. The jug has a simple, sturdy form with a curved handle and a flared base. A functional piece, suitable for serving or display. In good vintage condition with light wear consistent with age.
