A terracotta plate by James Cockburn, made in England presumably around 2000. Featuring a bold spiral design in black and ochre, with hand-painted details. Cockburn, a studio potter based in Kent, is known for his expressive use of pattern and texture, and works as both a painter and ceramicist. The base is stamped with the maker’s mark, and the back features a hanging loop for it to be placed on the wall. In excellent condition.
