Large Wood & Metal Candleholder, Denmark, 1970

True to mid-century Danish style, this teak-base candleholder sits at an elevated height of 27cm, allowing for a distinct centrepiece for any table setup. Candles appear to balance perfectly, being pinned down by the singular sharp metal point atop the piece. There is some beautiful patina in the wood through use, and marks to the metal should be expected. The point is beginning to loosen slightly, but could likely be fixed with a small amount of strong adhesive, allowing for many more years of love and use. Overall, a great, used, collectible piece.
